preparation, execution, performance - a repeatable cycle for continued success
Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance:
It's an old saying but the key to long term growth and profitability
lies in the preparation & planning stage.
It is imperative you define where you are going and how you are
going to get there. After you know that, you should
measure the results to see how you are doing against your projections. A plan
should be reviewed regularly and adjusted, where necessary, to ensure
it is still relevant to your goals.
Initial Assessment: during this stage, we will
have a meeting to understand the key drivers of the business and
your objectives. The output from this will be a 1-3 page summary
of the key issues of the business and a high level action plan.
Developing the Plan & Setting the Budget:
during this stage, we will partner with you to prepare a plan and determine the best
cost structure to get your business objectives realised in the most efficient way.
Execution of the Plan: You can have a good plan, but
unless you do something with it, it remains just that - a plan. Through regular management
meetings we will help you track and monitor your progress against
the plan, make amendments and reassess priorities...
You can't manage what you don't measure: Key
performance indicators & benchmarks will be developed and visualised
in the form of graphs, where possible, to help you see at a glance how your business
is doing. This allows you to influence your business in all areas.
Optimising the productivity of your sales force: We can also help you implement Customer Relationship Management
(CRM), maximising the business opportunities with existing and future customers.
Managing Performance: From time to time, it
is important that you take a step back from day-to-day operations
and review both where you against the plan and your own performance
and leadership in achieving your goals & profitability.
Thought Leadership & Coaching: We provide
thought leadership and coaching throughout the entire length of our involvement,
typically by holding offsite meetings with the key stakeholders.
During these meetings, we will assess together how well every aspect
of the business is progressing including the behaviours that drove positive
outcomes and those that did not. Also, we will review how well the
objectives are being met and what adjustments are necessary, if any.
Company Brand & Positioning: What makes you different from
your competitors? How you answer this should be embedded in everything you do and dictate
your culture. We can help make your brand unique through
competition analysis, customer needs analysis and anticipating market trends to establish
the product or service postioning accordingly.
